Divorced from my Asperger's husband - and happy

My ex-husband of 25 years, was recently diagnosed with Asperger's Syndrome. Now they tell me. After 25 years of beating my head against a wall - wanting to whack him upside the head with something... NOW they tell me "there's a name for it." Well, it's too late now. I divorced the idiot. I gave up a significant part of my life for a nut case. And that's what he is - let's face it. I am glad I am divorced. The tears I shed trying to figure him out - all his annoying idiocyncracies, hand wringing, finger-flapping, blank stares, rude comments, lack of empathy and hyper-focus on "music from the 40's"... Needless to say, I do not support marriage to people diagnosed with AS! Any woman who notices something peculiar about her boyfriend, please- have him see a psychiatrist first, before you marry.
